Orientation sessions are held weekly, typically on Tuesdays. Some states allow for weekly home time, while others may require drivers to be out for two weeks at a time. Alternatively, drivers who prefer to be out for longer periods of time can request schedules that allow for 4 to 6 days off after 3 to 4 weeks on the road. Our policy is to allow drivers to take whatever time they need for home time when they do return, as long as they maintain an average of 10,000 miles per month on the truck. If you have specific home time needs, we can work with dispatch to see if accommodations can be made.”

New hires are generally expected to be flexible and able to run wherever needed within the 48 contiguous states. While we strive to keep drivers in their preferred regions as much as possible, it is important to be able to adapt to changing circumstances in the trucking industry. Currently, we have a high volume of runs in the Midwest region.”

Are your drivers W2 or 1099?

“Midnite Express employees its drivers as W2 employees, rather than hiring them as independent contractors (1099). This means that drivers are considered regular employees of the company and are eligible for the same benefits and protections as other employees.”

Do you offer Lease Purchase?

“Midnite Express does offer a lease purchase program for qualified drivers. In order to be eligible, drivers must first work as a company driver for 90 days. This allows both the company and the driver to assess the working relationship and ensure it is a good fit on all sides. If the driver is interested in pursuing a lease purchase after 90 days of employment, they can meet with the terminal manager to discuss and agree on a truck deal.
