Eligibility
A. Production date
Films completed after January 2020 that have not been submitted to UNICA KOREA International Film Festival_(With exceptions in some cases)
B. Genre
No limit
C. All genre including drama, documentary, animation, and experimental films
D. Language
No limit
E. Running time
Feature film: Over 60 minutes, Short film: Up to 60 minutes
F. Rights
Films that have no issues with copyright or other rights
※ The Festival does not check the copyright of submitted films. The applicant will be responsible for any problems resulting from copyright.
Submission
A) Submission documents
a)Entry form (1 copy)

i) Download the entry form from the Festival website (www.unicakorea.org).
ii) All fields of the entry form must be completed. The completed form must be signed and submitted in ‘pdf’ or ‘jpg’ files.
iii) Notes on filling the entry form

- The award history of the submitted film must be recorded.
- No changes or alterations are allowed to the submitted entry form.
- All submitted information must be true. If any statement is found to be false, the Festival may cancel the entry.

b) File or Secure online screening link. Film file: mp4/ h264 format
c) Film image cut or still cut: three jpg files 3000 dpi or above
d) Director’s picture: one jpg file 3000 dpi or above
B) Submission Procedure
a) The four documents including the entry form must be submitted via e-mail

i) e-mail : unicakorea@gmail.com
ii) The file name of the submission documents should be include filmtitle.

b) Secure online screening link
We can accept films via a secure online viewing link with password. Please ensure that your password stays active until the end of the film festival. If you need to change the password, please do inform us of the new password as soon as you can.
c) Submitted documents will not be returned.
d) By submitting a film to the Festival, the filmmakers are considered to have agreed to screen the film officially and free of charge during the Festival.
e) Applicant to the Festival will be considered to have understood and agreed to the rules and regulations of the Festival. Any issues not included in the submission rules will be decided according to the discretion of the Festival organizer.
Films for public screening
A) Selection and announcement
Films for public screening will be selected by the selection committee and the Festival director
B) Selected films should submit free of charge in HD/mov format files.
C) Once a film is selected for public screening, the screening cannot be canceled.
Use of submitted materials
A) Submitted materials may be used for the production of a book of the UNICA Korea International Film Festival, and for promotion of the Festival through media including newspapers and broadcasting.
B) All submitted films will be archived on the website of Making the World Beautiful Though Film Inc. (UNICA member representing Korea) for the non-commercial purpose of research and education. These films can be screened in special projects such as the UNICA Archive screening.
C) The Festival reserves the copyright for screened films for non-commercial purpose of promotion and submission to oversees film festivals.
D) The Festival may produce a video clip of three minutes or less of the selected films to promote the film and the Festival.
E) The Festival may freely submit the best films among the films screened to international film festivals on behalf of the filmmakers.
F) The title and synopsis in English, French, and German must be submitted for films that are selected.
