Over 31k registrants plan to participate in annual Cooper River Bridge Run
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Cooper River Bridge run officials say 31,156 people registered for the race as of Thursday.
The annual Cooper River Bridge Run 10K is scheduled for Saturday, April 6. Every year the Ravenel Bridge is shut down so runners can make their way from Mount Pleasant to downtown Charleston.

Registration is still open Thursday and Friday. It's $70 for those yet to register.
Registration can be done online at the Cooper River Bridge Run website.
Participants will have the option of choosing to walk or run when they register.
