Nuria Espinosa Aguilera, PhD

Biography

Espinosa has been practicing since 2008, the last 12 years in Seville, in the Clinical Unit of Infectious Diseases (HIV) at Virgen del Rocío Hospital, selected as one of the top 10 hospitals in Spain. Espinosa's practice specializes in the care of HIV patients. Espinosa's interests also include emergent pathogens and unknown origin fever, main topic of her doctoral thesis in 2016.

Espinosa is also a member of Infectious Diseases Research Group at the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville (IBiS). Espinosa has participated as sub-investigator and collaborator in many projects in the field of HIV and antiretroviral treatment. Since 2018, Espinosa is the president of the HIV group from Infectious Diseases Andalusian Society.
