前回の記事で『英会話話を組み立てるパワーフレーズ講義編』も復習に使っていると書きました

上記の本で but は３回のレッスンに分けて取り上げられており、その中の１つでは大西先生の例のジョークが話題

レンは母親が「牛丼に添える紅ショウガがない」と言うのを聞いて…：

Ren: No ginger, huh? That reminds me of my new English teacher, Onishi-sensei.

Mom: Really? Why?

Ren: Well, I like my new teacher but hate his jokes.

Mom: Why does having no ginger remind you of his jokes?

Ren: He always says "No ginger" when he means shoganai!

「しょうがない」のネタは、この番組を以前からお聞きになっている皆さんにもおなじみのジョークということになるのでしょうね

次にこのジョークが出てくるのは２年後くらい？(笑)
