Humanoid Data Integration Thought Entity, Yuki Nagato to the Rescue~

The alien of the SOS Brigade, Yuki Nagato is another amazing persona that rarely speaks her mind. Yuki Nagato is created by Integrated Data Sentient Entity (IDSE), a sentient data organism in Haruhi’s world. The ultimate goal of IDSE is to evolve further and in this regard, Suzumiya Haruhi is a key in this process. This is why Yuki was sent to monitor her. At the same time, she becomes the guardian of the team, trying to save Kyon, Asahina, and Itsuki whenever trouble befalls them. Even though other than Kyon the rest of the SOS Brigade are abnormal, Yuki is on another level altogether.

As a sentient being, Yuki is able to control and change reality based on the data provided. She is the only one out of the groups that retains her memory when the world repeats itself again and again because of Haruhi’s thoughts during their summer break. She knows how many times they’ve repeat their summers, and retain all memories of it. Imagine a super computer, with ability to analyze real time data at any given moment. Let’s say specific air temperature and body heat makes people behave certain ways. She can utilize every single information and even modify it to her liking. However, since her job is to stand and watch, she is unable to just tell the others of what’s happening.

Yuki Nagato is definitely the Guardian Angel for the team, but even though she’s supposed to be this super amazing alien, she’s apparently evolves enough above a data entity that she experiences emotions. Lacking, but emotions indeed.
