In the fall of 1978, Manfred Krug would begin to write and record an album that would be released as "Da bist du ja" in 1979. This catchy album contains songs arranged and composed by Ingfried Hoffmann that radiate jazzy vibes heavily inspired by his 1960s jazz career. In the song Mozart (track 7), Manfred Krug is accompanied by singing partner Joy Fleming, both providing tremendous vocals. Three years later in 1982, Krug would reunite with Hoffmann on Sesamstraße playing Manfred, one of the main characters until 1983.
