INDIANAPOLIS — Bellarmine University's Joe Workman received the Great Lakes Valley Conference's first Offensive Player of the Week honor for men's soccer of the season, the league announced Monday.

The senior forward was involved in both game-winning goals in Bellarmine's first two games. In Thursday's 2-1 double-overtime win over Cedarville, Workman assisted to senior midfielder Callum Southern on the game-winner.

On Saturday, in a 4-3 triumph over Davenport, Workman headed in the "golden goal" off a cross from freshman midfielder Jonas Skulstad in overtime.
