    A series of semi-automatic rifles and shotguns based on the heavy RPK receiver are manufactured in Russia. These are known as the Russian Vepr Rifles ( "Wild Boar"). They are offered in several chamberings and Vepr shotguns comes 12 gauge, 20 gauge, and .410 bore. The hallmark of Vepr rifles is their heavy RPK receiver and barrel. The barrel, gas block, and bore are chrome lined throughout. They are intended for the civilian market, and are marketed as high quality hunting rifles.  Vepr rifles do not include a bayonet lug, integrated cleaning rods or tool kits, can not accept standard AK magazines, and have wooden thumb-hole stocks. Some buy these rifles to "convert" into a traditional style AK rifle, installing new pistol-grip stocks and adding tactical accessories.  Early generations of the Vepr rifle were manufactured with slant-back receivers, making them incompatible with most AK furniture sets without a converter. The receivers were changed to straight-back in the second generation. Subsequent versions of the rifle reverted to slant-back. Due to this rapid change between designs, it is not uncommon to find some second generation Vepr rifles with rough, incomplete stocks that have not been sanded or painted.

    Please Note :  The rifles will ship from our Warehouse # 2 you will be required to have your dealer fax or email in a copy of their FFL after the order has been placed even if they are already on file. Please make sure the dealer writes your name & order number on the ffl. Orders will take 5-7 business days to process and ship out or less . California Orders may take longer as outlined on our web site. These are the last of the Square back Vepr rifles we are offering them at blow out prices .

    Each Vepr version features Molot's incredibly accurate cold hammer forged barrels that are threaded in the standard Russian 14mm x 1 left hand pattern. Each threaded barrel is capped, pinned and spot welded. This versions features the flip rear sights that are set at 100 meters or 300 meters and the front sight is integrated to the gas block. These features allow for faster target acquisition, reduced weight and results in the most balanced Vepr rifle ever produced to date.

    The new Vepr Rifles are patterned after the original Kalashnikov design. The Molot Factory has changed the receiver from a slant back to a square back design, thus allowing for the use of most standard AK buttstocks.

    PLEASE NOTE: Stocks are unfinished, incomplete and may be cracked or broken. This new VEPR rifle accepts most standard AK buttstocks and is intended for the owner to replace them. There is no warranty on the stock set

    PLEASE NOTE:  If you live in a magazine restricted state and the magazine that comes with the firearm would be illegal, we will remove the magazine from the order and ship the firearm to the dealer without the magazine. We cannot ship magazines to out of state addresses and we cannot alter or customize magazines at this time. There will be no discounts for removal of magazines or other custom magazine options offered. If you are located in California and are purchasing a rifle we will be glad to send the mag to the FFL dealer as a parts kit. It is your responsibility to discuss this in advance with your dealer. We do not offer parts kits to any other states since it is only legal in CA. 

    It is your responsibility to be familiar with your current local gun laws BEFORE placing your order. Please feel free to email us with questions you may have.

    California Customers: We will be glad to ship this item to CA. The rifle will have a mag lock installed. We will also disassemble the magazine to ship to your dealer as a Parts Kit. Please discuss the purchase as well as all details with your transfer dealer before ordering. Please add the rifle to your cart and then go to the California Legal section and add the AK47/74 Bullet Button option to your cart, this is also listed at the bottom of this page.PLEASE NOTE: We can only ship the magazine parts kit to your FFL dealer. If you can not have the magazine shipped to your FFl dealer as a Parts kit we will remove the magazine for you before shipping your rifle. We can not ship magazines to an out of state address, and we can not alter or customize magazines at this time. There will be no discounts for removal of magazines.
