Last January 10, 2014 we had a meeting.
Read this for more details:

We touched the topic about FSA Recognition:

https://wiki.mozilla.org/StudentAmbassadors/Recognition

1 Recognition
1.1 Level 1
1.1.1 Firefox Student Ambassador Open Badge
        1.2 Level 2
1.1.2 Certificate of Identification
1.3 Level 3
1.1.3 Vouching on Mozillians.org
1.4 Level 4
1.1.4 Recommendation to ReMo Program
1.5 Certificate of Appreciation
We are asked to request a Firefox Student Ambassador Open Badge. So I filled up this form:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/10IsyspUmaixL14IO-fUbuGByHX08-Rgdg5w5ShcEYvw/viewform

I linked my blog. (beatayag.wordpress.com) in this part:

Link to the Facebook/Twitter/Google+ post you made about the program (please insert the url below) *
Remember, use the hash-tags #mozilla #firefox #students as well as a link to the registration page

Then I received an email. (I included in the photo latest emails that are related to Mozilla Firefox.)
I also print screened emails that I received so that others may have an idea what to do or what will happen if you request an open badge and other levels of recognition. 🙂

First, I received this:

Then I claimed the badge. It also have a claim code where in you can open

           Have a claim code?

Type it here to claim your badge:

Enter the claim code and ta-da, you have your Firefox Student Ambassador Badge!
I received this email right after I claim the badge.

And a follow-up email where you are congratulated~

After receiving my Firefox Student Ambassadors Badge, I am curious about every single badge that is Firefox related. And I just want to collect them all. TT________TT

While browsing I found Open Badges for Firefox OS. I read this FirefoxOS Open Badges Proposal:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zdAAFoDRXpbGV1Iin1dAtBq-K1SXGRkAevNz-dM4dNE/edit#heading=h.akbke5ohydus

And request for a badge. I received this email immediately.

Look at my profile now~

After that I clicked the “Add this badge to your Mozilla Badge Backpack” in the Share part.

I logged in and ta-da~

Oh by-the-way, after I received the “[Firefox Student Ambassadors] Congratulations on your Open Badge!” email,
I requested for the Certification of Identification~ YAY FOR LEVEL 2!!

I filled up this form:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1hMz0wXPhSV-zFC4A-AEqZf3CH6x4ySym2g64ttFs8ls/viewform#start=openform

It is a 2 page form. In the second page there is this question with a drop down box and you will choose..

Which additional activity have you completed to receive your Certificate of Identification? *
(You can do more than one, but only need to select one)

Since I already wrote a blog post about my UST FSA experience (my first blog post here, and the reason for this blog) I chose:

Write a blog post about your experience in the program.

I requested last January 21, 2014. I am surprised that I received an email the day after I requested. I received this:

Maybe I was lucky to catch up with the last batch to receive the Certificate of Identification~

I downloaded the certificate and put my name on it. I was so happy to see this so I printed it too. 😀

NEXT. LEVEL 3. YAY!!

Ate Tina asked me to create  a profile in mozillians.org, because it is the 3rd step for the Recognition~

Here is my profile:

https://mozillians.org/en-US/u/beatayag/

Image

For now, I am waiting for my profile to be vouched… I wish it will be vouched. ;___;

Next to that is the Recommendation to ReMo Program.
Lastly, the Certificate of Appreciation.

I hope that I will unlock all levels~
I wish that other starting Firefox Student Ambassadors will complete it as well. Good luck to as all. 🙂
Let us help Firefox build a better internet. 😀
