Did You Get The Surprise Gabriel Rodriguez Dracula #1 Variant Today?

We told you recently that the Department of Truth team of James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds were getting some good buzz on their Universal Monsters: Dracula limited series from Image/Skybound that hit stores today.
This week, retailers got more than just the copies of Universal Monsters: Dracula #1 they ordered – they also found a special variant cover by Locke And Key co-creator Gabriel Rodriguez. Because it turns out Skybound had one more surprise for retailers, with a special one-per-store "Thank You" variant sent to any retailer who ordered Universal Monsters: Dracula, meaning this is the rarest variant of the series with likely less than 2,500 copies in circulation.
This Thank You variant drops at the right time for James Tynion IV collectors, as NYCC saw limited edition variants of his books immediately skyrocket in value, hitting upwards of $175. The last time Skybound did this, it was for Joshua Williamson and Andrei Bressan's Dark Ride, which immediately saw $125 sales and remains one of the rarest covers in the series. But with no chance for retailers to reorder and such a limited number of copies in the market, how high will the Universal Monsters: Dracula #1 cover resell for with speculators and collectors with the heat around JT4 and the die-hard Universal Monsters fans out there?
I'm guessing we'll learn a lot from eBay this week as fans flock to get copies that retailers may put up for sale – and in a few weeks when the first CGC graded copies hit the market. Universal Monsters: Dracula #1 is on sale in comic shops today.
