Wild in adventure, it was a long journey of struggles and sacrifices to the promised land of prosperity. The vast, beautiful, untamed landscape was meant to match the toughness of courageous pilgrims who created the American frontier, the dream to be wild and free.

This oil on canvas original painting depicts a desperate and courageous fight for survival. The ride through dust and rain was never easy, but if we had no storms, we wouldn't appreciate the sunshine. And as the day ends around the desert fire, a Cowboy's words are stuck in my mind: "If it's not yours - don't take it; If it's not true - don't say it; If it's not right - don't do it."
