600 people participated in our latest Safety Culture Survey for SK construction companies to dive into attitudes and perceptions around safety across the province. Congrats to Bradley from CandorBuild Construction in Saskatoon - he took a few minutes to do the survey and won our random draw for a Star Wars prize pack. May the force be strong with you! Our advisors caught this one awhile back on a visit through the region. Know the turtle’s name? His protective shell, cautious nature and long lifespan reflect safety messages we share (such as wearing PPE and taking time with your tasks – you get it). Just as turtles live longer by avoiding risks and protecting themselves, prioritizing safety helps you enjoy a long, healthy career.

Our essential training course for supervisors is now available On Demand! This new option for Leadership for Safety Excellence is designed for busy construction professionals who appreciate flexibility, independent learning and digital tools. "We know that supervisors and managers who oversee safety each day on site are busy professionals with huge responsibilities and a lot of moving pieces to manage. Can you name the place? You don't see too many of these in SK but just as lighthouses provide guidance, hazard warnings and safety assurance, our advisors cover the province doing the same.

One last photo to wrap up #safetyandhealthweek. A big thank you to Warman Homes for having us out with over 25 subcontractors and over 100 people attending the demos on their Home Center lot. Hope everyone enjoyed the demos and the week as much as we did.

Every once in a while I post some achievements. Not really sure how we got nominated for a Pargon award but for 2 people working in different cities not a bad little achievement. We attended the award show only to lose out but, I’m not sure we really expected to win. All and all, I think it just speaks volume of our little team. I think Amber Huck and I have become a little bit of a power duo. Each pushing each other to constantly level up our game. We wouldn’t have been nominated with out her. I sometimes add some things too. Haha. But seriously pretty happy with what we’ve accomplished, nomination or not. It’s been a trip Huck and a pleasure working with you. Here’s to next level, whatever we deem that to be.
