His Candle Academy in Thailand and Jamaica are the most extensive design schools Worldwide as well as his online education that teaches students globally. His family's company Stoneglowcandles is one of the largest manufacturers in England. The candle making workshops are taught one on one with Gary and the online business set up course follows the same format.

Welcome! I'm so exciting to be teaching you here- let me show you what works! Are you sick of trying to piece together information from various sources online on how to make candles only to find it doesn't work? People come to me all the time after trying and failing at getting the correct wax, wicks and fragrance oils to work together effectively. It is easy to get right but also easy to get wrong. Let me show you my techniques. You're going to learn all about how to measure the candle wax, choose the correct wick size (which is a minefield) and most importantly choosing your fabulous scents. I do work and teach with soy wax and we are a vegan company. I have run in-person candle workshops for over 7 years welcoming thousands of people from around the country. I have adapted my in person teaching to online courses I'm delighted to serve around the world now in 16 countries! My business began from my kitchen table over 10 years ago, making candles for family then friends asked if I could teach them so I started running classes round my kitchen table which eventually expanded to a studio a year and a half later. I create Private Label Candles for Luxury Hotels across Scotland and London, and work with clients such as Waldorf Astoria, Porsche, Novotel and Pullman. My business has taken me to Downing Street twice and the House of Lords. My love of candles started many years ago and I would fill every room with candles each evening, as I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere they created and the soft warm glow. My brother even joked “where is the confessional box!” The candle industry has now boomed into big business, and the choice and price of a natural Soy Candle can be upwards of £40!! Over the past few years, the candles have gone from nice-to-have to a home decor status symbol. Luxury candles are now one of the largest gift items. A good friend bought me a beautiful silver container for my birthday and I loved it. I used it sparingly but eventually, it was at the end of its life. I could not bear to throw it away and this is where my Refill My Candles business venture began.

Earl of East is creative business founded by Niko Dafkos and Paul Firmin in 2014. What started out as a shared passion project, has grown organically from side-hustle to a business with a team of 18 located in London. A love of fragrance and a desire to build something of our own led us to develop our own line of home fragrance products, which has since expanded from just three candles to a line that encompasses, candles, incense, home mists and bath and body products, all of which are produced by us in London. We now have over 230 stockists worldwide and in September 2019 we launched our debut book, "The Scented Candle Workshop" with Kyle Books in the UK and USA.

With sustainability and the environment in mind, where used, carton packaging is made with recycled board and cosmetic containers are recyclable, soap wrap is biodegradeable.
