Existing SharePoint list connection failed

Hello,

While refreshing the dataset getting "DataSource.Error: Web.Contents failed to get contents", but recently nothing changed on the report.

For testing purpose i connect the SharePoint online list using the connector 1.0 it`s working fine, but when I connect the list using 2.0 it throws the same error.

Thanks,

Hello willjoe,

The data source is not an excel file, it's a SharePoint online list.

Moreover, it has been working for a long time and the issue suddenly happened.

i don`t have any issue with the 1.0 connector.

Hi, @Sakthisp87

Please download and use the latest power bi desktop version.
You can also check if the solution mentioned in the following thread work for you.
DataSource.Error Web.Contents failed to get data from (500): Internal Server Error

  • Open your excel file that you wish to export.
  • Using the menu bar, go to “Data”.
  • Click on “From the web” from the menu items available.
  • Type out the URL associated with your SharePoint account.
  • Click load to import the data feed.
  • Finally, go back to your SharePoint account and the list will be imported.

Regards,

Willjoe
