Slapbox Pizzicheria locations in Round Rock and Austin will operate under a new name: 600 Degrees Pizzeria.

The pizza restaurant announced the name change Aug. 9. The restaurant and drafthouse opened in Round Rock under the name Slapbox Pizzicheria at 201 E. Main St., Round Rock in 2017 as a sister restaurant to 600 Degrees Pizzeria and 600 Degrees Marketplace in Georgetown. Owners Mark Thompson and Mike Chang, who created both concepts, opened a second Slapbox location between Brushy Creek and Cedar Park at 9900 W. Parmer Lane, Ste. B-100 in November 2020.
