Green needed 17 points coming into the game to reach the milestone and became the first DCC player since the school’s all-time leading scorer Justin Miknis (1,490 points) reached the mark in 2019 when he nailed a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 3:05 left in the second quarter. He finished the game with 29 points and 1,012 career tallies.
