About us
UPC Space Program is a students' project that has the objective of developing aerospace related technologies. Being the biggest and most inclusive of its kind in UPC, currently it holds more than 50 members. Students are from various university degrees within the Terrassa faculty. It is divided into five branches: robotics, rocketry, stratospheric globes, drones and cubesats. Among these projects highlights the development of new technology. The UPC Space Program currently works with several companies to exchange information. The stratospheric balloon section is working with Everis to create a balloon throw prediction system. The rocket division and the drones division are working with HP to enhance 3D printing. From the collaboration with HP, UPC Space Program also collaborates with the Catalan technology society and with some of its members to promote Terrassa in the face of 3D printing. On the GRASS mission, during our building process we were in need of various industrial grade tools, that’s why we want to thank AEXSpace for helping us during all our rover building process, they provided us with advice and access to industrial equipment. Their help has paved the way for our successful participation in the ERC 2023 in Poland. They also helped us by printing some of our SLS parts that were essential for the functioning of our rover.

Here at UPC Space Program, we are very thankful for the help and economic sponsorship provided by SENSOCAR during last year. Our gripper was a very complex part of our rover, that’s why their counseling and assistance was of great help to us during the design stages of our robotic arm.
