ELBA — The Elba Board of Education on Thursday selected Chris Moseley to be the new superintendent of Elba City Schools.
Moseley, the Elba High School principal, was one of six final candidates who had interviewed for the position during the last several days.
Chresal Threadgill, Elba’s previous full-time superintendent, resigned in July to become the chief of staff in the Mobile County Schools. Dennis Coe has been the interim superintendent.
Dothan High Principal Stan Eldridge was in the running to be the next superintendent of the Elba City Schools.
