General Dynamics Electric Boat’s primary operations are the shipyard in Groton, CT, the automated hull-fabrication and outfitting facility at Quonset Point in North Kingstown, RI, and an engineering and design center building in New London, CT. Electric Boat also has employees at naval installations and supplier around the country and overseas. The current workforce is more than 21,500 employees.
