Dean Winters has mixed it up with Tina Fey on 30 Rock, and now he’ll play the onscreen foil of another Saturday Night Live vet, Andy Samberg.

In an upcoming episode of Fox’s new cop comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the Oz and Law & Order: SVU veteran (and mayhem-inducing star of many Allstate commercials) will guest-star as Warren Pembroke, who works for the Major Crimes Unit and has a rivalry with goofy-but-skilled detective Jake (Samberg).

Other celebrities will pop up in early installments of the series as well. Fox has confirmed that rapper Kid Cudi (Scott Mescudi) will appear as a jewel thief in one episode. (The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.) In addition, the first episode includes a cameo by SNL alum Fred Armisen.

Created by Parks and Recreation executive producers Michael Schur and Dan Goor, Brooklyn Nine-Nine debuts Sept. 17.
