Adore Delano’s shocking decision to quit RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars after a single week in the competition seemingly surprised her fellow queens more than Roxxxy Andrews’ big wig-underneath-a-wig reveal on the season 5 runway.

In EW’s exclusive first look at the upcoming All Stars reunion, Delano, who first joined the Drag Race family after making it to the top 16 on season 7 of American Idol (under the name Danny Noriega), expresses deep regret over her decision to leave the show after her outfit received harsh critiques from series judge Michelle Visage.

“I’m embarrassed. I just felt like I shouldn’t have done that. I didn’t want to let anybody down,” Delano says to RuPaul in the clip. “Nobody goes on All Stars 2 and is like, peacing out. It’s like, whack. It’s not even my style.”

“I was just like, f—, the outfits that I got made for me don’t even stand up to this, man,” she admits. “I didn’t prepare myself to bring myself back to the whole elimination process, to the critiquing process, the goddamn runway… and I wasn’t mentally prepared to hear [critiques] from Michelle, either.”

Following her departure on the Sept. 1 episode, Delano revealed during a Periscope session it was actually guest judge Raven-Symoné’s comments that inspired her to quit.

“Michelle is not to blame, like, completely,” the 27-year-old said. “It actually started with Raven-Symoné. She said something super, super cruel and something I’m not sure she even remembers that she probably said to me, but it, like, touched home and made me super sensitive and super mad… but, Michelle kind of went for the jugular.”

The RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars reunion airs Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on VH1 and Logo. Watch an exclusive clip from the show below.
