We are Team Central African Republic: several talented members who share a variety of interests, overcoming the hardship of our unstable environment due to armed conflicts. We are a high school robotics team based in Bangui, Central African Republic. We are so willful to tap into the potential of robotics offered to us by FIRST Global – We are about to amaze you! Despite each team member coming from a different background, we make it our goal to always continue learning new things. From the heart of Africa, we are so thrilled to connect with other nations as we join this year’s 2023 FGC competition in Singapore!

Our team is made up of 7 passionate members ranging from 13 to 18 years old. Our participation in the FIRST Global robotics Challenge began in 2019. Though we got hindered by visa refusal to participate in the 2022 FGC Challenge in Geneva, we are still resiliently hoping to get on board for this year’s competition. With the Hydrogen Horizons Challenge, we’ve come to learn and appreciate the usefulness of renewable and sustainable energy to respond to the energy lack in our country.
