May I keep you?

Yesterday, I watched the Disney movie Robin Hood. I felt a bit sad after watching it, because I really miss 2D and traditional animation a lot.
I discovered Zootopia and The Good Dinosaur this year, and I was amazed at how much the graphics were beautiful… but 2D/traditional animation is,
and will probably always be, what I love the most. Movies like The Aristocats, The Jungle Book or 101 Dalmatians are wonderful in my opinion, it’s almost like you
could feel the pen drawing the characters… I also love equally more recent movies like Brother Bear, Tarzan or Treasure Planet in the way it is drawn and animated.

Don’t get me wrong, I think CGI movies like Tangled, Frozen or Finding Nemo are awesome ! But I wish we still had new 2D/traditional animated movies…

Anyway, I thought it could be interesting to draw Nick and Judy, the newest Disney protagonists, in Robin Hood’s style (after all, it is also a movie with
anthropomorphic foxes and rabbits =D (Big Grin) ) ; so I tried to draw a kind of “fake screenshot” of a 2D Zootopia. I used pictures from Robin Hood as a reference.
