2023 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season: Played in 10 games and started in one...Scooped career-high 13 ground balls and caused seven turnovers... Had two multiple caused turnover games against Villanova (2/12) and Yale (2/25).
 
Lafayette (2/4): Scooped four ground balls and caused one turnover. at Villanova (2/12): Scooped two ground balls and caused two turnovers. Stony Brook (2/18): Scooped two ground balls and caused one turnover. at Yale (2/25): Picked up one ground ball and caused two turnovers. at Cornell (3/11): Scooped two ground balls. vs. Marquette (3/18): Scooped one ground ball. at Maryland (3/25): Picked up one ground ball and caused one turnover.

2022 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Played in all 14 games...Finished with 19 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers...Ranked second on the team in caused turnovers...Had at least one ground ball in 11 games, including a season-high five against Rutgers (4/22)...Caused at least one turnover in eight games.
 
Lafayette (2/5): Made collegiate debut. Villanova (2/12): Picked up one ground ball. at Saint Joseph's (2/19): Tallied two ground balls and one caused turnover. Yale (2/26): Caused two turnovers and picked up one ground ball in a 10-6 win over the the fifth-ranked Bulldogs. Cornell (3/12): Had one ground ball and one caused turnover. at Bucknell (3/15): Caused two turnovers and picked up one ground ball. at Ohio State (4/1): Totaled three ground balls and one caused turnover. at Johns Hopkins (4/16): Finished with two ground balls and one caused turnover. at Rutgers (4/22): Picked up a season-high five ground balls and caused one turnover. 

PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Led Malvern Prep to the 2019 Inter-Ac title and a top-20 ranking in the Inside Lacrosse Poll…Played club with Mesa, helping the team achieve a top-10 national ranking…Played in the FCA National league in Lake Placid in 2019...Led Malvern Prep to another Inter-Ac title and finished the year at #2 in the country according to Inside Lacrosse in 2021... Earned 2021 USA All-American, 2021 Senior Under Armour All-American, All Inter-Ac, All-State and All-Maine Line honors.

PERSONAL
Parents are Michael and JoAnn Buono…Father played lacrosse at Villanova…Mother played field hockey at Villanova…Has two younger brothers, Roman and Angus, and one younger sister, Grayson…Grandfather, Michael Buono Jr., played football at Villanova…Hobbies include hunting, fishing, cooking and boating…Majoring in communication arts and sciences.
