Maria and Joerg Koch‘s Berlin-based multimedia and fashion imprint 032c isn’t afraid of breaking down boundaries or going against the norms, as apparent with its latest collaboration with adidas Originals.

Eagle-eyed readers will notice that the new collaboration is, in fact, just a reworked version of the last collaboration, introducing the GSG Trail and GSG Mule in “Grey One/Mgh Solid Grey/Solar Blue,” alongside the introduction of two complementing bags — being a backpack and a tote to be precise.

Both sneakers use the GSG-9 boot as their foundation, but of course, switch things up with new uppers co-designed by the Berlin brand. For the Trail, we find a neoprene and synthetic material upper decorated with flashes of metallic silver intersect with flat grey tones, while 032c branding on the rear-quarter and metal, red, and blue loops appear all around.

As for the lacing system, it’s the same as before: informed by the utilitarian nature of the boot, these sneakers have a rope-toggle system for quick fastening and release, making it incredibly tactile. This is further accentuated by the lugged clear rubber sole unit, which is the same as the one found on the mule.

Those mules follow a similar theme, featuring the Traxion and adiPRENE-equipped sole unit alongside a neoprene upper in the same color scheme, adding red to the 032c branding and blue to the insole. Rounding out the capsule are the two bags: a backpack made using 100% recycled polyester plain weave that’s fully reflective and is complete with horizontal rubber tubes and adjustable straps, and a tote bag that’s also completely reflective.

The 032c x adidas Originals capsule collaboration can be seen above and is expected to drop on adidas’ website on September 30.
