Support us

The European branch of The Institute of Archaeomythology (IAM) is a politically unaffiliated research institute, a think tank for visionaries, and a unique peace organization. We are now seeking supporters for our activities.

In order to make research about Old Europe available to the general public, we have started a popularization project, as well as the production of learning materials. The influence this may have on education looks promising. In Austria, a book by Harald Haarmann, who is the director of IAM's European branch, has become a compulsory course book in a teacher education program. Haarmann has done extensive research, continuing Gimbutas' work, and published numerous works on the subject.

In order to create a world of peace and equality, we believe there are lessons to be learned from those who actually lived in such a society for thousands of years. Our research aims to understand the cosmologies and social systems of the Old Europeans. By popularizing them, we hope to bring these teachings into people's lives.

We believe that social change starts with knowledge, which can then become part of lived experience. For that reason our approach to popularization is both scientific and artistic. We believe that the Old European civilization offers immense gifts for everyone, and all we need to do is bravely draw from the source.

Pro Old Europe, a non-profit organization, was established as a sister association for IAM’s European Branch. Please consider becoming a supporting member of the association, making a donation or signing a sponsorship agreement with us. With your support, we can continue to expand our organization’s activities. We offer our supporters an opportunity to be part of something truly unique and soul-nourishing, helping build a better Europe, a better world and greater humanity. If you are interested in supporting us and would like to learn more about our activities, please get in touch with Harald Haarmann at harald.haarmann@pp.inet.fi and we can arrange a meeting or a call.
