Hard to Get Competencies Course - 25 March 2024 AM Session
This is a course designed to support primarily those undertaking the Portfolio pathway. Please note that while this course is open to all, "sign off" of some procedures on a simulation may not be available. If you intend to practice on this course you should check the curriculum before attending. Using a variety of animal models attendees will be able to simulate Lateral Canthotomy/ cantholysis, Evisceration, Enucleation of the eye, Corneal gluing, Tarsorrhaphy, Strabismus surgery, permanent occlusion of the cannaliculus and Temporal artery biopsy. *Delegates attending the course especially if following the portfolio pathway (CESR) will have to refer to the specialty-specific guidance (SSG) on the website https://www.gmc-uk.org/-/media/documents/sat---ssg---ophthalmology---kse_pdf-103434336.pdf
