Woman dies after being hit by Tamil YouTuber Irfan’s vehicle, police probe on

The police said the deceased identified as P Padmavathi met with the accident around 8.30 pm while she was returning after visiting her daughter’s residence.

According to the Tambaram Traffic police sources, the car belonging to Irfan was driven by Mohammed Azarudheen and was heading towards Chennai.

The police have booked the driver for causing death due to negligence and a probe is underway.

Padmavathi was reportedly employed in a private institute in Kattankulathur.

Irfan, who rose to fame by posting food reviews in Tamil on YouTube has a huge fan following with his channel ‘Irfan’s view’ that has a total of 3.64 million subscribers. He recently got married and was invited for a tea party at the Raj Bhavan by Governor R N Ravi.
