‘XXX’ movie has not been shelved, says Ekta Kapoor

Ekta Kapoor’s ‘XXX’ was in news for its one-of-a-kind nudity clause wherein actors had to sign a contract that reportedly gave the director a free hand to shoot bold scenes that he wanted from the actors on screen.

Producer Ekta Kapoor’s boldest offering ‘XXX’ is yet to see the light of the day. To be directed by Ken Ghosh, the movie which was earlier slated to release in the second half of 2015, seems to have suddenly gone out of the radar. There were reports of the movie having been shelved.

However when we asked Ekta Kapoor about the same, the Balaji head curtly replied: “A film that has been once shot cannot be shelved.”

We wonder how a movie with a name like ‘XXX’ will bypass the moral scissors of the censor board. Let’s wait and watch for that.
