The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is inviting the community to help name one of its new Malayan tiger cubs.
The zoo welcomed three of the critically endangered cats in November. The male and one of the female cubs have been named by donors … leaving the second little female still in need of a name.

Zoo staff have chosen five possible names of South Asian origin as an homage to the Malayan tiger species. They are Nayla, Mina, Seniya, Indah and Cahya.
Votes can be cast from now through Jan. 31 for a $5 donation at jacksonvillezoo.org/namethattiger.
The name that raises the most money will be the winner.

Plus, the zoo is matching up to $20,000 of the money donated to the contest.
The donations will go to the care and feeding of the zoo’s animals, zoo officials say.
