The Belfast TradFest has announced that The Bothy Band will play a reunion concert. This marks their first public performance in Ireland since 1979. The concert is scheduled to take place at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall on Sunday, 25th February 2024, as part of the festival.

The reformed band includes Matt Molloy, Dónal Lunny, Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill, Kevin Burke, Paddy Glackin, and Paddy Keenan. Joining them on guitar is Seán Óg Graham.

Presale tickets for the event will be available from Wednesday, 6th December at 10 am, exclusive to subscribers to the Belfast TradFest mailing list. General ticket sales will commence on Friday, 8th December at 10 am, available through the Waterfront Hall's website, www.waterfront.co.uk.
