National Student Money Week is 4th to 8th March 2024. It's a national campaign to help students make the most of their money and this year the theme is Less Risk, More Reward.

The University's Financial Support team has a range of activities planned for this week, including Giant Keele-opoly in the Keele SU Ballroom this Thursday, from 4 to 10 pm. Groups of up to 6 students can book a slot to play the giant Keele-based board game, with all students taking part being entered into a prize draw. A range of other board games will be available for use during the event, and spectators are welcome.

Other events include:

Monday: Healthy Gaming at the Hub - free gaming activities in the SU Hub.
Tuesday: National Student Money Week Fair in Chancellors, with freebies and the popular Shopping Basket Challenge.
Wednesday: Interview with Tony Sales, Britain's Greatest Fraudster, followed by a budgeting workshop in the afternoon.
Thursday: The Fair returns to Chancellors, followed by an Understanding Gaming and Gambling Harms workshop with national charity YGAM.
Friday: ASK is holding an information session about PIP, a benefit that gives financial help to those with long-term health conditions and disabilities. Financial Support will then host My Year in Crypto, exploring their own officer's experience with cryptocurrency.
