EL PASO, Texas (CBS4/KFOX14) — El Paso Community College will host an open house for its Law Enforcement Training Academy on Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m at the EPCC Mission Del Paso Campus.
Guests will have the chance to tour the EPCC Law Enforcement Training Academy facility and get more information about pursuing a career in law enforcement.
The Law Enforcement Training facility provides a self-contained training facility with multiple classrooms, a self-defense tactics mat room, a weight room, a 20-bay in-door shooting range (also open to the public), and a simulation room for the use of Force scenarios.
The academy provides mandatory in-service training for current Law Enforcement personnel and conducts various certification and non-certification courses such as License to Carry, Civilian Firearms, Security Level II and III, International Protection Officer Certification, Basic and Experienced Motorcycle Rider to include 3-wheel operations and Women’s Basic Self-Defense.
