Enyeama gives two reasons why he did not apply for the Super Eagles job

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has said he has not signed on as the team’s new head coach for two reasons.

Since Jose Peseiro’s contract expired, several former Nigerian players have been linked with the job.

Enyeama has admitted that he would have signed up even if he had completed his coaching certificate and not concentrated on his hotel business.

He told Afrik-Foot: “To coach the Super Eagles, you have to be certified. That is the minimum standard.

“That’s the main reason, and the fact that I’ve been very busy developing and managing my hotel has captured a lot of my attention, and that business is now the most important thing to me.”
