Looked for a shop nearby a small event happening this weekend. After calling in, Richard refused to give a quote for exactly what I was looking for: 8 bouquets of a dozen roses.
He asked me to "name my budget" and refused to give me a quote over the phone. After his many years of doing business as a florist, he said he was incapable of giving me a quote on each bouquet? There is even a $100 for 100 roses deal -- he stinks of a used car salesman being too inept to be transparent on a simple surcharge for fillers and individual wrapping.
He told me to call back when I was serious about making an order. I was absolutely serious about making an order, but the unprofessionalism was jarring. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, as I found a nearby florist that had both pricing and competency.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason T.Costa Mesa, CA504529Feb 16, 2024
Ordered one thing they delivered another.
This is after tipping them 20% $75
Paying a delivery fee of $74 for 4 miles
Thought about haggling but they wasted enough of my time and money.
Spent over $400 after tip and delivery.
Would have been fine had they delivered what was paid for.
Or at least communicated they can't or didn't.
This was a face to face sale not over the phone clarity was achieved.
Executing was not.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael B.Irvine, CA214313Feb 14, 2024
These folks operate under the name "Forever Rose Florist" on DoorDash and sold me a "Sunflower & Roses Happy Bouquet" $79. The bouquet had one sunflower and the roses were damaged and discolored. None of the other flowers shown in the photo were present...only roses and one sunflower. The product was misrepresented.
Using this florist via DoorDash was the worst mistake I've made on an important day.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alireza N.Los Angeles, CA20258317Feb 14, 2024
I just want to say that when I came here last week, I was taken care of, and although I had bad experiences with previous florists, was reassured and treated like family.
Today, my partner got his delivery and it was spectacular, easy, exactly what I expected.
Thank you everyone for making this a memorable valentines.
I can't wait to come back! (We also got lilies this week that looked great)Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 14, 2024
Had a terrible experience. Went with my partner and told the person our budget, but she kept pushing for a bigger and more expensive higher end bouquet. We told them we saw a deal and we saw the Yelp Check In offer, she said those offers and the offers outside the store are only for valentine day. We got a nice flower. The product was nice as it came with a balloon, but it felt like my partner and I got scammed.
We kept reiterating our budget, but she kept pushing and guilt tripping that the lowest they can do is ______. I said maybe to a price suggested but not the flower she wanted to sell to us, but the salesperson ran with it and started wrapping the flowers. It did not feel good because we know we could have gotten better flowers for cheaper elsewhere.
Probably would not go back because of the terrible experience. There are definitely better shops in OC who are more personable, and respects our needs as consumers.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
