I had called several electricians in an emergency situation with a busted circuit breaker and was basically stonewalled or quoted upwards of $500 for a diagnosis.

I had all but lost hope until I found Avangard and Ivan. Ivan was quick to reach out, give an extremely reasonable quote and was in and out in less than an hour. He fixed the problem temporarily, gave exact directions on parts to be purchased in the meantime, and explained everything that needed to be done.

Had a real nightmare scenario with the previous electrician (someone completely different). Ivan got the job done quickly, same day, and even gave us advice on how to save money.

Called Ivan mid morning on memorial day, and even though he was extremely busy, Ivan found the time to fit us in that day. He did such a great job with attaching lighting to the side of our garage, that we asked him to help us with two other projects we had not previously called Ivan about.

BEWARE!!! SCAMMER!!

Ivan came to our house last August 22 to provide an estimate for an electrical work. We had agreed on the price and scheduled the job. He had requested a 30% down payment in the amount of $567. which was paid thru Chase zelle as he had asked. After he received the downpayment, he cancelled/no show twice on the agreed appointment dates, will not accept calls and scarcely answer messages. After Sept 15, he stopped responding to calls and text messages altogether. He did not respond to my messages to refund my downpayment. Do Not hire this guy, he is a SCAMMER!

Unresponsive, lack of communication... stay away . Paid deposit and disappeared .. no call no text ..

I received a quote from Avangard and a quick call to make an appointment. An electrician was on time to my house. He worked quick, and for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend him!! Thank you.

I ordered some Lutron Caseta switches from Ivan via Facebook Marketplace and the first transaction went great. I ordered more and he sent a pic of a shipping label so I zelle'd the money. He never shipped the switches. Scam Alert! I've filed a police report.

Ivan was professional and detected problem fast. Reasonable price and easy to schedule appointment. Will call for service again.

Ivan does amazing work. He installed outlets throughout our home, installed a wall mounted tv and a video doorbell. He also hung multiple light fixtures. His pricing is competitive and he does great work. Will definitely contact him with any future needs.

Ivan added overhead lighting boxes and converted switches in 3 of our bedrooms. He did the work quickly and for a price that was far more reasonable than any other estimate. He was also able to provide advice and product information for adding smart lighting throughout our home. I would highly recommend him for your next electrical project.

We had lost power to half the house at 9pm on a weeknight they came out that night and quickly diagnosed the problem which happened to be with Com Ed and the main line going into the house they hooked up a temporary connection for the night and came back out when Com Ed was able to get there the next day and talked the problem through. The follow thru and knowledge was unbeatable. I will be using Avangard again in the future.
