As of today, 9/3/2023 the sign saying closed for the day remains BUT a new sign is posted saying they're hiring. I can confirm that the job listings are posted on indeed. Looks like they'll be back soon!!

So happy to learn Dooney Bourke store has reopened in Freeport! Great store, with fantastic values!!!

I can say that after a very long temporary closure, the Freeport store is open! My mother-in-law is thrilled! Hopefully, it's for more than just the Holidays! (As of 11/24/23)

Someone at Dooney needs to address the Freeport, Maine Outlet situation. Site lists hours that are not true. Store has a perpetual 'Temporarily closed for rest of day' sign on front door. Calling D&B not helpful, as Customer Service says D&B has no information on their stores. As others have said, here, drove 1.5 - 2.0 hours to get there based on hours listed to find the same "Temporarily" closed sign. What is happening here? This is a Store visited for 25+ years when traveling to rental in MidCoast Maine. If D&B closing this Outlet, please just say so. Enjoyed my annual pilgrimages to this Store. It is a great place to shop. Large selection, great deals with pleasant, friendly, and helpful staff. Need to update sign to 'Truly Closed' if never re-opening or let customers know what is happening on the Store website. Thank you.

I used to always buy my purses her but for the last 10 months plus they have had a sign in the door, saying 'temporarily closed'. No explanation. If you call us states the same. Last time we made a trip and we could still see product in the store. D&B needs to fix this. I will not order from their website as when I returned something they did not refund my money and my bank had to go after them. Highly disappointed.

Tried visiting a couple months ago and the store was closed. Sign in the window stated that the store was closed for the rest of the day. Today we checked and the Google search said they were open. Drove 1.5 hours only to find the store closed and the same sign in the window. My wife really wanted the purse in the front window so I thought about looking on line but I refuse to give my money to a company that treats customers this way. They obviously don't read their reviews as people have been posting complaints for months. They just don't care.

I am a frequent visitor to this store in Freeport. Most of the time the employees are very helpful. Even if they aren't it doesn't matter because I get the bags I want with incredible savings .
With a receipt , the one time I decided I didn't need the bag because I had to similar they refunded my money. I have 4 jumbo totes of D&B bags.

I've been traveling from NH to this store for the last couple of years. I was never a purse girl until I saw a Dooney bag. Beautiful quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional prices at this outlet. I can't weigh in on the return policy because I've never found myself regretting a purchase!

Also, I will say every single staff member I have ever encountered there has been friendly, kind and supportive. I've never had a bad experience. They don't feel snobby, judgmental or anything just happy to help you find the perfect bag!

Love this store! Great selection and excellent customer service. I have purchased several items from here over the last year, and the quality is fantastic. Always seems to have a friendly and helpful staff. I make it a point to stop in at least twice a year. They never disappoint.

No refunds. If you decide to purchase something just be sure it's something you absolutely want to keep or that you're fine with a store credit only.

The sales associate that helped me out when I made my initial purchase never mentioned that I couldn't get a refund. He only mentioned that some items were final sale, so no exchanges. However he knew that I could possibly come back with a return and he said that with the item I was purchasing I would be fine as long as it was within 30 days.

I went back to the store within 12 days only to find out that they only do exchanges. Obviously my first time shopping here. Very bad experience and do not plan to be back. I'll sell the gift card. I'm very surprised that store policies like this still exist.
