Cliff note review: RUN!! This Dominican will ROB YOU BLIND!!! Remix Review: So I was in the market for a cheap fridge for my "space" in the ghetto. I'd call it up & coming but that would be a stretch. I digress, I Had a friend RAVE about the owner of Eagle Appliances, Cesar who sells rebuilt/ repaired refrigerators & appliances off NW 36th St. Just west of Wynwood. (More hood!) "I've used the guy for 5 years", she said. "He has repeat customers Cuz he's SOOOO awesome!" she said. "Pay me in full for the refrigerator and you'll have it in 2 days." HE said. Something didn't feel right about buying from a no-name roadside vendor and cash only dealings RARELY end well. BUT what I knew to be true and what i let happen ...couldn't have been more different.

Sometimes I hate being right about people. As expected I caved to my insistent friend who had zero to lose and "Honest Cesar" totally lied, kept my cash. Turns out HE doesn't fix fridges. Some other guy, that was out of town, did; but that didn't stop him from pressuring me to pay him that very night to make it happen. Out of the $360 I paid for the fridge (which was never fixed) he returned $300 after chasing him for 2 weeks and finally threatening him with an attorney and the police via text since he was dodging my calls. Every time I went to pick up my cash I noticed new merchandise and the fridge I was promised had been sold. Standup guy this one. SMDH He promised to have the rest the following day ...but has since blocked my number. Dudes a thief. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

Tuve que amenazarlo con al policía y un abogado. Logró devolverme $300 de los $360 que me tumbo. Se quedó con el resto y me bloqueó el teléfono. ES UN LADRON. NO compren de este tipo.

Run, run, run. Cesar and his wife will be the biggest scammers. They act like nice people, ask for cash. Then they tell you that you have a 90 day warranty. Appliances never worked, he never came to repair. Call the store. No one answers. Best advise, find another place. Eagle appliances, have no clue how this place is even still open. Run, run away and keep your hard earned money. Purchase from a reputable place that cares for return business.
