This place was awesome, the ambiance and experience was unforgettable. We were looking for a nice place to enjoy the beach at a cruise stop and found this place - the chairs were 10 euros which was much cheaper than what others were charging and gave us the opportunity to explore more of the food and drink here which we did not regret.
The sangria was awesome, we did 2 pitchers of the Cava and it was freshly prepared in front of us with a full bottle of Cava, we also did a few glasses of red sangria which was awesome and of course some Heinekens.
Food wise:
Mussels - so good, the sauce was good also
Tomato toast - a huge hit
Bread and tapenade - incredible tasting and so different
Olives and Marcona almonds - such a nice snack
Calamari grilled - so fresh tasting and so tasty
Burrata - SO refreshingly good
Such great service and so friendly as well, hope to make it back here somedayHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 4384146315Oct 25, 2017
Not sure why this place only has a 3.5 rating but I found it to be very enjoyable! We decided to do a beach day and go figure this was the only restaurant near by. You can also reserve day beach beds here which is quite nice.
When in Ibiza, order a pitcher of sangria for lunch, right? What's super cool is that they actually make it for you table side! I'm usually not a bread person but it was delicious. It came out warm with a side of dipping sauce which had hints of basil. I ordered one of the pasta dishes that had salmon roe, which was an acquired taste, but I liked it.
I was very disappointed with the broccolini side dish. Not only was it 14 euros but there was like 6 pieces of vegetables. Guess that's a sign that I shouldn't eat vegetables while on vacay.
The other downside is that it's a bit pricey especially if you stop by for lunch. Ended up being 150 euros for the two of us. Not your casual beach lunch but it was a treat!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jason C.San Francisco, CA02773Jul 26, 2017
Solid service, excellent food. Beautiful ambiance essentially right on the beach and sandwiched between a lovely little woods-like area. Took my wife here for her birthday - they brought a delicious little chocolate dessert with a candle at the end - nice touch. Sole complaint is it's a bit pricey for what you get...very good though!

I come from America, so the service at Spanish restaurants will take me a while to get used to. Along with the fact that water for the table is not automatically given and it's not free. You will get the bread, even if you don't ask for it, and have to pay x amount of money per person for that bread even if you didn't ask for it and didn't eat it. Weird.
However the mushroom risotto was very good. I found this restaurant from a small book I read to prepare for my honeymoon here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sheera G.San Francisco, CA228119625Jul 28, 2014
Is it wrong that El Chiringuito at Es Cavallet was probably the highlight of my weekend in Ibiza? 3 friends and I arrived at the beach early-ish on Saturday. We tried had tried to reserve beds outside, but as we are late planners and they were booked out until September, we settled with the slightly less fancy chairs (11 EUR/day) and umbrellas (10 EUR) that are a part of the public beach right out front. Bonus: parking is free and you can order drinks and food, delivered to you by incredibly friendly and attentive staff.
We made a 330pm lunch reservation and were able to come back to our towels and chairs afterwards. Lunch was delicious, though pricey. HIghlights were the burrata salad, delicious and fresh calamari, pan con tomate, and refreshing fresas y frambuesas con nata for dessert.
We loved it so much, we went back on Sunday and just ordered a sandwich and drinks right to our beach chairs. El Chiringuito is a great place to plop down for the day and relax with a book and a drink.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Danielle M.Clifton, NJ3426759Sep 5, 2016
First ten minutes of my visit was 5 star. Then, the fun started. you don't tell me that breakfast closes at a certain time, nor do you tell me that if I don't put my order in 20 minutes before that time I will have to wait another 30 minutes to order, and you call that good service? 30 minutes trying to flag down a waiter, all of whom conveniently ignored me, and suddenly I was roped into a $100 euro meal . Waitresses who do nothing but roll their eyes. 30 minutes waiting to order a drink, then 30 minutes waiting for a drink. $30 for water ? Leaving at 130 pm and I started trying to place my order since 11 am. Also, the place was empty, so it's purely bad service. Food was eh. Come for the beach club, spare yourself the restaurant .
