Another recommendation for Rockid for a group dinner. They knew the owner and booked a table for us at 10pm. The venue is amazing. I would opt to sit outside every time. The place was pretty full for a Monday night.
Ambiance: Doesn't look like much from the outside, but apparently it is a really old structure. The indoor dining is ok, but its the backyard that really sets the mood. Lots of orange trees with string lighting gives it a very rustic feel. Great for big groups. There was also a rustic play area for the kids.
Service: for the most part, it was good. There were some lulls throughout the evening. And sometimes drink orders were forgotten. I think it is the spanish's laidback pace that is different for us. Food comes out in spurts...but over all, it was good
Food: We asked them to just bring out food...and that they did. Big plate of Jamon, not exactly sure what kind, but it was good. highlights included the grilled octupus, There was also this wonderful garlic aioli that went with everything. The meat platter (t bone, lamb, and rabbit) that you had to grill was really good. I didn't really care for the rabbit, but the beef and lamb was fantastic. There was just so much food that we were stuff.
Sangrias were also good. I think I preferred the white one here.

All in all, I think the ambiance is what shines at this place. No sunset view, but unique garden/backyard vibe.
