Es Con Sabor West

As mentioned before. A place i visit every month. I got the usual eggs with spinach. It was amazing.

I tried a new plate called Pollo Con Crema. It was served with a side of extra Crema incase you wanted more. It was amazing. I recommend.

Their cuisine is good. But they must stop selling their food in cheap, hazardous containers.

I ordered Pupusas here for a work luncheon for a team of 9. I placed a pickup order a couple of days in advance. The young woman who answered was very polite & helpful when I called. On the day of my event, I went right up to the cashier and they gave me my order. It was piping hot! I burned my hands, lol. The price was reasonable, and the serving size was significant. Everyone raved about the food! The Salvadorans were very pleased, which was a great sign. I'm glad I chose this restaurant for our lunch.

I think I may have found my new pupusa place!

Best thing about LA is having world cuisine menu.. and I'm Salvi.. so I'm always on the search for some fantastic, Sabroso(tasty) pupusas!! And the pupusas here are Sabrosos(tasty).. I got my pupusas with everything(Con todo)
I also enjoyed their Ensalada- is a fruit salad drink.. the name doesn't translate well into English but it's basically a drink made with various fruits native to Central America that usually taste like the best apple juice..Ever!! All of my friends always enjoy their 1st Ensalada..
I got my order to go because my abuela( grandma) didn't want to get out the car.. Alzheimer's SUX!!

I feel real disappointed with my meal today, I was really hoping to like this place because it's close to work. I ordered 1 pupusas revuelta and it was practically all masa. Don't know if the person making them today was new but it was just bad. No flavor and I couldn't finish it.

Great pupusas plus delicious rice and beans at very fair prices. Not fancy, but pleasant atmosphere with friendly service.

This restaurant was really good.
I stuck with classic Salvadoran menu items.

Pupusas chunky, you may only need to eat one.

The plantains omg could have been on the desert menu, they were fresh, hot with a beautiful sweet glaze and tasted great.

The yuca, pretty, fried to yellow/light brown perfection, soft on the inside with a light crunch on the outside.

I don't know the name of these beans but at a Salvadoran restaurant on Beverly years ago I had these black beans that were fluffy or whipped (not runny) just fun to eat and damn good. Will ask next time.

Lastly
The lady at the register was cool. I'm American and I wanted to try a number of items and the way I was ordering would have cost me more money but she picked out certain dishes on the menu that consolidated what I wanted so I didn't have to order a bunch of side items.
Mad points to her for having integrity to not easily taking my money and for that this place now has a new customer in me!!

My local spot for pupusas love them they're all great honestly love the veggie cheese ones and the one that has alll the ingredients is so bomb I forgot if it's con todo the name , it has pork cheese beans loroco and forgot what else it's delicious I order ahead of time always get more than what we need to last us until breakfast love the side of beans and rice and the Chile relleno is pretty tasty as well , great price pretty huge honestly .

The food here is not acceptable , the consideration they have for their customers is next to nothing I ordered from this place and they took a long time just to send me an old fish. That was so stale and stiff that there was no way to actually eat. I would not want anyone to waste their money at a place where they care so little for their customers satisfaction. Do yourself a favor and save your money!

Whenever the craving for pupusas hit I try to make my way here to Es Con Sabor.

Today I got the bean and cheese, the revueltas con todo and the chicharron pupusas. When I picked up my to go order, it was HEAVY! In my order they added 2 salsa cups and 2 cups of loroco. I loved that their made to order pupusas were not super oily yet still flavorful. The dough was strong enough to hold all the packed in ingredients yet soft enough to cut through.

Their hours are a bit off so don't always go by Yelp business hours. Hopefully you're close enough to stop by and try their delicious food !
