Right in the heart of the city is this Es Paella. Gives a great city feel.
The menu Is pretty small and simple. The dishes comes out in single serving . Very flavorful. We ordered Seafood , Chicken and Duck Paella. Sangria to go with them.
Definitely a visit.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2024
Not a big restaurant but it was perfect for my lunch as a solo traveler. They had daily special that comes with paella, drink and dessert which is a good deal
Service was friendly. Paella was great. As a solo traveler I appreciated that they served single portion instead of requiring 2 people minimum to order it.
Cheesecake with raspberry sauce was great too.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lanie F.New York, NY775269Nov 15, 2023
My recent visit to Es.paella left me with mixed feelings. The anticipation of enjoying a classic Spanish dish with my friend turned into a somewhat underwhelming experience.
We ordered the paella, hoping for a flavorful and authentic taste, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. The dish lacked the depth of flavor and the meticulous preparation I've come to expect from a good paella. While it wasn't terrible, it fell short of leaving a lasting impression.
Given the multitude of exceptional dining options available, I can't help but feel there are better places to enjoy a memorable paella in the area. The ambiance and service at Es.paella were decent, but the culinary experience didn't quite live up to my expectations.
In all honesty, I wouldn't rush back to Es.paella if given the chance. I believe there are more promising venues in the area that offer a more satisfying paella experience. Perhaps it was an off day, but for now, I'll be exploring other culinary options in search of that perfect paella.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rpisces G.Seattle, WA89334634Sep 25, 2023
Busy place, quick service, outside and indoor seating. Reasonable prices. Had the arroz con pollo y fungi, dos copas de vino blanco. Total menos de 20 Euros

Ok, not great. Our third stop for paella and was well below the other mom and pop shops we had.

Just right for our style of dining. Casual, good entree into Valencia style paella. Most friendly place we've visited in Spain so far. Pre fixe menu offers healthy salad, choice of paella, drink, and dessert. No hard choices. Fun, modern decor. Sit at the window and watch the people!

For starters, I'm not sure how this restaurant has good reviews. The paella was extremely bland, I've had more flavorful paella out of an Uncle Ben's box.
Also, service was a huge disappointment. The second we walked in and informed the hostess that we spoke mostly English, we were met with a huge eye roll and sigh. For that point on we were treated lower than low.
It was empty on a Saturday night, so we should have known better. Would not recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
