Sara at Fit & Fix-It put a hem and a bustle in my wedding dress for me. At the bottom of my dress there was intricate, decorative lace all the way around and she did a beautiful job hemming it, while keeping the look the way the dress was meant to be! So happy with her work.

Because I had such a full train, they needed to do a 7 point bustle. The seamstress who put the bustle in wasn't there when I picked the dress up and the owner, Betty, didn't know how my bustle worked, as she didn't work on it, so I had to make another trip in, so she could explain to me how the bustle pins up.

When I went back in, since the bustle was complicated, Sara was good enough to tie various colored threads on the underside of the dress to make it easier to know which loop goes to which clear button. The color coding idea was brilliant and will make it easier on my maid of honor on the wedding day.

Really the only things I can say weren't ideal, doesn't have to do with their work, because that was right on point, but more that I wasn't a big fan of there being pins on the floor and around the big mirror. You won't want to go without having shoes on as you could step on a pin, even in the dressing room, which wouldn't be fun.

Also, I had to request Sara to clear off a bunch of pins that were on the step where she pins the dress, so they didn't get all caught up in the lace of my dress. As long as you are mindful of that, you'll be good and I'd recommend them based on their workmanship.

This is the absolute worst company I've ever been to if you can even call it that. There's a woman who works there who doesn't even know the prices for the place she works for. I came in because I needed a dress shortened as it dragged on the floor. My initial question was "How much do you charge to shorten a dress and how long will it take?" She told me she didn't know and proceeded to ask me instead when I needed it by and asked me to put on the dress. I told her in 3 weeks and I put the dress on, guessing she needed to see the material to provide a quote. She then began putting pins in my dress. When she was finished I again asked how much will it be and she quoted me a price of $85 but said again she wasn't sure. I immediately told her no and that I wanted my dress back. She said the woman who actually does the work doesn't come in until later and that she can better quote me. I again said I wanted the dress back and I would find someone else who can quote me today. She said I owed $10 to a fitting I never agreed to and that she assured me she would tell the woman the highest price I'm willing to pay to see if that would work. It was obvious that she wasn't going to give me the dress back and I had another appointment to attend to. I went to my appointment and then called this store well after 2 to ask for the quote and to pick up my dress. I was told that the woman never came in and that I now had to wait 4 days before I can go get me dress as they are closed for three days every week, never you mind that I'll also have to take time off of work to pick up my dress as their hours don't consider the working person. If I could give negative stars I would.

I dropped off a pair of BKE jeans 1 week ago. I spoke to the lady and told her exactly what I wanted done. All that was done was some stitching to the existing material. The lady told me it would cost about $10. I go to pick them up today and was told it would be $20. Does that mean in the future that if I needed some major work done to a bunch of clothes and you told me it would cost $100 that when I pick it up you charge me $200 and that's acceptable? I'll throw my jeans in the garbage before I pay this place 10 cents again.

This lady charges wayyy to much and doesn't give you the prices correctly! She charged me 32 dollars to put a new zipper in a jumpsuit!!! The jumpsuit itself was 42.00! That's ridiculous i will never use her services again!
