Lowes has the worst customer service. Local and 800#. I purchased 2 bathroom vanities on the same day that were shipped separately by different
Carriers. One was great they text. Called and knocked on door and placed vanity in the garage as per their website. The 2nd one is a nightmare no calls, text, knock or doorbell and placed a 175lb vanity still shrinkwrapped to the pallet right in front of my door, completely blocking the entrance to my home. 800# not helpful at all refers me to local store where nobody picks up a phone. I've called every day for 6 days. Waited over an hour each day for someone to answer and never once did someone pick up. Is there something wrong with their phone lines and they have no idea? If I wasn't an hour away I would have driven there. The National customer service doesn't have the same records as the stores so I'm at the mercy of someone actually answering the phone.

Trying to purchase an LG Refrigerator, Oven and a hood and can't get anyone to pick up the phone! What's up with that? You need a voice message service so we can message the Asccociate we spoke to. If it's too hard, we'll shop elsewhere.

Very happy with there online order. It was ready for pick up in 30 mins. Lowes always surpassed my expectations.

I ordered a refrigerator online and selected the delivery date. I received a text confirming to expect the delivery. They didn't show and when I checked the delivery date online, the store chose a new one without clearing with me. I called the Lowe's 800 customer service number who had trouble reaching the store. The delivery was rescheduled, but it was a no-show again.
I called the store and the phone rang for 30 minutes and then another 20 with no answer. I cancelled the order through Lowe's customer service line.
After I cancelled, we were surprised when a day later the delivery drivers showed up. We felt badly for them, but sent them away as I ordered from another source.
Later that day, I got a call from someone in the store apologizing that "I had a bad experience". An absolutely lame and passive excuse for an apology! The bad experience did not spring organically from me. Another great experience here at Lowe's. This time with Arleen in the blinds department. My husband and I again were having trouble finding or knowing exactly what we needed. She came up to us and kindly asked if we needed help. We said we were fine. After a few of minutes of still being confused she came back and guided us through what exactly we needed. She even politely explained how our measurements were wrong. When she started cutting the blinds the machine stopped working . I was very impressed that she pulled out the machine,got out a shop vac, cleaned the machine and processed to finish cutting. She was also able to help several customers while our blinds were cutting . She gave everyone the same great customer service! She's a great asset to her department. Thanks Arleen !

He was extremely helpful with several different items we were looking for. I was disappointed when I asked a younger blonde hair boy that was "working" there , where I could find wood screws to build a fence. The boys response was " uuuh I don't know probably with the rest of the screws" as he smirked and walked away. Jerry was walking by and asked if we needed help, then proceeded to lead us to the exact screws we needed along with several other items we would need to complete the project. I thought for sure Jerry was a department manager, then noticed his name tag read .. in training. He should be the one training the smug kids that are already staffed there.

**Slap on my wrist** for lacking a mental note of the young (lookin') associate that helped us at this location.
I've read a book (unrelated to this purchase) that as an '84 baby, my personality doesn't like to be hard sold on anything.
And this ^^ is so true when it comes to any expensive purchase. Prefer to do my own research and making the ultimate decision.
If a sales person comes over and tries to start talking when I've made a mental decision, sometimes that can make or break a sale.
We stopped by Lowe's in Elk Grove on Friday, headed straight for appliances with my print out in hand showing the exact model #, price, photo, etc.
We were left alone to look around, found the correct model, checked specs, took some measurements... and voila.
Found our new Washer + Dryer combo on sale! Lowe's is doing a special of 30-40% off appliances currently for the month.
In true bargain shopper mode, Lowe's was like $200 LESS for the same brand than Home Depot!

The store has the worst customer service out of every home improvement store I've been to. The workers just don't care they're short staffed. They're not trained. Well, stuff is miss marked, and they just don't care. I wish I could return the gift card i bought my wife for her birthday so we can just move along and not go to this place.

I ordered a 200$ brand new door from here and I understand that doors will come with flaws but these were more damages than flaws. The employees failed to tell us during curbside pickup and we were focused on trying to strap the door onto our vehicle. We weren't focused on the looking at the door until we got home. I have emailed the store manager about a partial refund and I yet to receive an email. I will be returning the door if I can't have a partial refund on it. If i wanted to buy a refurbished door I would've looked somewhere else. But 200$ for a door with many damages? No thank you.

Helping customers is the last thing anyone at this store wants to do. I ordered online for a pick up to avoid this and even then there was no one at the pick up counter and a line forming. What's the point of doing an in store pick up if searching for the item and checking out in person is more efficient. Additionally, we had two people call for help twice and no one came to help. We had to seek them out as well because there were no associates to be be found so no one was aware of anything that was going on. An extremely frustrating and disappointing experience
