Dr Mary Johnson is very caring to her patients. She listens to your concerns and takes the time to go over with you a plan for your female needs. Very good bed side manner. I highly recommend her. I also loved the lab staff she took the time to share the correct needle to use on me since I seemed to usually get stuck with a needle 5 times. She cares about her job and her patients.

Dr Trammell and staff have been very friendly and prompt to answer questions or messages left. She takes her time when you have an appointment to answer questions. I never feel rushed

I've been coming here for just over 10 years. Dr. Trammell is phenomenal. She delivered my last two children (ages 9 and 6) and tied my tubes after the last birth due to medical necessity. She also was the one to work with me through a plethora of tests to finally diagnose me with cervical cancer two years ago. My oncologist finally felt like my condition was at a point where I could add Dr. Trammell back into the rotation of my care again, and so today was my annual checkup for breast exam and Pap smear.
She came into the room and immediately hugged me and asked how I was doing, like "really" doing. We talked about everything that's happened with me health (and family life, because she likes to build relationships with her patients) and talked about my cancer treatments - what they were like, how they felt, and their after effects. She is so genuinely caring. She sits and listens, asks questions and takes in the answers. She truly has your best interests in mind. She is gentle and explains what she's doing as she does the exams so that there are no surprises.
Her staff is kind and caring. Wait times aren't long at all. The offices and patient exam rooms are clean and have been recently remodeled with new paint and decor. Artwork made by her kids at school and family photos hang proudly in each exam room and it just shows how down to earth and family oriented she is.
If you're in the market for a new OB/GYN, I highly recommend Dr. Trammell.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Cathy L.Mobile, AL05Oct 28, 2020
I'd like to start by saying that this review is long overdue. Please read this to the end. It could effect you.
In November of 2016, I was diagnosed with 'high risk' (cancer causing) HPV by my gyno, Dr. Kleinpeter. Although I do have a bit of a medical background, I was unfamiliar with what this diagnosis entailed for my future. My questions were inadequately answered and I found most of them from research I did myself. I even felt that I was given info that contradicted what I wound up researching. In November 2017, I went for my yearly and had the same battery of usual tests run. In late December of 2017, I actually (finally) had a conversation about my HPV diagnosis with my best friend. Her teenage son was eavesdropping around the corner and told his father (friend's first husband) about it and the news spread like wildfire. I am a laughingstock in town because of this. When I discovered this after the first of 2018, I cut all ties with her ending a 20+ year friendship because I assumed she was the one who had run her mouth. My teenage Godson went on to try and take his life that May, out of severe guilt for what he had done. When I went for my yearly in November 2018, I was told that my test results from the year before were clear, I had been virus free for a year without knowing. I no longer had HPV, my body had fought the virus. WHAT? Had someone bothered to pick up the phone at that point in 2017, when the clean test results were discovered, NONE of that crap would have happened. I never would have said anything to now-former bff, my reputation would still be basically intact, rather than being viewed as the diseased town slut, and my Godson would never have pulled that desperate move. ....Had only someone made a call with test results.
I had a year and a half to mull it over. I put off my yearly until May of this year I was so angry. I didn't feel like going back to this office, but who likes to shop for gynecologists, right? I spoke up at that visit and told the doctor of the events of the year before. There wasn't much empathy there, nor any interest in making sure that such an occurrence couldn't happen again to another patient.
I'm angry still. I lost my best friend, her three wonderful children that I knew since birth and I was "aunt" and Godmother to, and my dignity when this information became common knowledge. No one at the office seemed interested in updating policy to inform patients in changes to their test results be they good or bad. Had that simple phone call been made, my life would be so much different today.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Barbara C.Fairview, Semmes, AL05Oct 27, 2020
Visit was terrible. Overcrowded. Unable to social distance. Don't enforce mask wearing. When I asked the person who sat next to me, and I couldn't move. There was no where else to go, to please put their mask on he started screaming and swearing at me. Staff did nothing. Extremely upsetting. Bathroom by exam room was filthy. When I told nurse she said I know. We really should do something about that. Loved the dr but will never go there again

I had a REALLY bad experience with one of their doctors. He was opposed to me not wanting an epidural and made to to where we couldn't just see another doctor in the same practice. He was very unprofessional, condescending and rude.
