Abdi A.Ponte Vedra Beach, FL01Mar 20, 2021I would not recommend solid Rock engineering ,the lack of knowledge for fundamental civil engineering ,cost us significant time and money.The major concern with them is lack of responsibility to correct their own mistakes, please take caution before working with them.

Yvette and her team were professional and excellent to work without throughout. They did the work on time and on budget. They were creative in finding cost effective options for foundation design on a somewhat difficult site.

I would not recommend this engineering firm to anyone. I hired Yvette and her team to engineer a foundation for a housing project and the level of professionalism was lower than I have ever experienced from an engineering firm.
Although Yvette had personal issues, which I had compassion for, she was unable to keep her word on multiple occasions. Firstly, she missed a number of deadlines and kept making commitments that she was unable to fulfill. The once she did produce the engineering documents, the design was so over-engineered that I was unable to find a contractor to build it for two months. This resulted in significant business losses, and unnecessary time wasted.
There are plenty of other qualified engineers in the region. Don't take your chances with Rock Solid Engineering. They are anything but rock solid.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We would like to take the opportunity to respond to this review. We take pride in our customer service and reputation and do no think that this review portrays the entire situation.
We were initially hired to do a site visit to observe the already installed foundation. We arrived as scheduled and on time. The foundation did not meet the building code requirements and the construction was so poor that it required a complete re-design. The existing foundation plan was also incomplete.
The scope of work changed from a single site visit, to designing the foundation for two buildings and a deck. This type of work takes time and the client wanted it done within a couple of days. The deadlines were imposed by the client without regard to the amount of work required and our current work load. After delivering the plans, the client refused to pay for them. When the CEO was contacted after several months to pay the bill, this review was then generated.
We encourage our clients to contact us if they have an issue as we would like the opportunity to resolve any issues in a professional manner. We enjoy many happy clients with a mutal professional respect and hope to earn your business as well.
