The Coffee Vault

This place is great! If you haven't been I'd highly suggest a visit. The shop is in the old Galena bank and they still have the vault door, which is really cool. The staff are super nice and the food and drinks are delicious. I got a 16 oz. iced mocha, a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin and a lemon muffin. Best way to start a Saturday - will definitely be back soon!

I try to stop in when I can. Great place! Coffee is really good. I think I paid like $5.75-$6.75 for the larger size coffee. Which was twice the amount you'd get at Starbucks for that price. They have alot of good was to customize your coffee. I do wish that had something other than the container you get at the store for the creams. I just feel like it would look better to not just hand the creamer carton to the customer, but have a creamer holder labeled for the customer to use instead. Aside from the it's a very cute cafe. They have some merch, ground coffee you can buy. I think I noticed some price tags on some of the art. So the art might be for sale I may be mistaken I took a at quick glance. They go have delicious bagels and other treats available too! The old bank vault is still there and open it's pretty cool to look at! Staff is always so nice and helpful!

Sit on the patio overlooking the River or in the cozy living room downstairs. Or, go up the spiral staircase to the bright and cheery cafe area.

Lots of coffee, tea and pastry options to start your morning off right. I love this place!

Expensive cold brew. They charge more if you ask for less ice. Also, I didn't see any creamer sitting out and I personally hate it when coffee shops add creamer to my drink for me.

Anytime I come into the small town on Galena, I get some coffee from The Coffee Vault.
On this visit, I got one of the May specialty drinks: a salted caramel cold brew with chocolate cold foam. It's was very good. The chocolate cold foam was light and flavorful (definitely better than something you'd get from Dunkin'). It mixed very will with the salted caramel as it seeped more into the drink.
They may have higher prices, but that goes into supporting the small business. Overall it's a wonderful coffee shop that's always fun to visit (as it inhabits an old bank). Be sure to stop if you're in the area!

Always an amazing experience! I can't believe I've never left a review for The Coffee Vault! My wife and I frequent this coffee shop because of the atmosphere, friendly service, and amazing coffee and food!

The Coffee Vault is such a unique place. They have seating upstairs, downstairs, and a little patio out back (covered by shade). They were unfortunately cleaning the downstairs area for closing today, but we were able to find a table out on their patio!

I ordered the special of the month - Salted caramel cold brew with chocolate cold foam. I will literally NEVER go back to Starbucks or any chain coffee shop after trying their cold foam! The salted caramel isn't overpowering, but is delicious! The cold brew is smooth and refreshing!

I also ordered the chicken salad on a croissant. Again... never disappointing! I don't know who was toasting the croissants, but they deserve a trophy! The croissant was perfectly toasted. The chicken salad is also absolutely amazing!

We will definitely be frequenting this place more often this summer!

Love the ambiance, the coffee can't be beat, and the employees are always hard at work! One of my very favorite places to stop!

This coffee shop lives up to the great reviews. I will dream about their iced lattes.

Located on a pretty town square in Galena right next door to Galena Diner and Son of Thurman. They have off street parking and a little outdoor patio. The downstairs seating is also open again. Staff is very friendly and the coffee is sooo good.

They also have monthly seasonal special drinks. This month it is blueberry cobbler latte or s'mores latte. This is a short drive from Alum Creek and Polaris. Loved it!

Love this place. Old bank setting with a welcoming, cozy basement to enjoy your drink.

Cute spot set in a gorgeous hidden gem of Ohio. Coffee impressed us and service was efficient. A bit out of the way from Columbus to visit regularly but definitely worth the pop in if you're in that part of town.
