The Outlet Powered by Zappos

My first visit! While in an industrial park and attaches to the Zappos warehouse, we were provided with a great retail experience. An employee was outside the door greeting customers and right inside was hand sanitizer, masks and signage describing their safety expectations. Rolling carts are also available to stash your shoe selections.

Available sizes are going to vary and will ultimately affect how each shopper likes the outlet; however, there's shoes for everyone in the family. As a lady that wears 7.5-8 I had rows and rows to look through. There's seating at the end of each aisle and full length mirrors. Since it's an outlet you don't know what you'll find - the thrill of the hunt. Shoes are 50% or more off the retail prices. I spotted everything from tennis shoes to casual sandals and heels. Note: not a ton of athletic shoes in the women's rows I was shopping so this may not be your go to place for athletic styles.

The retail is really nice - wooden counters and accents, lots of cool lighting fixtures, very clean and organized, plus signage clearly marking the rows. On the outside area you'll find some clothing, jewelry and accessories, even roller skates!

The team at the front desk was really friendly and check out was quick. We bought 6 pairs of shoes and averaged about $25 each pair.

We are fortunate to travel to SDF at least every other month, and a stop at "The Outlet" is always part of our itinerary, especially if we can make it on a Wednesday.
During the past year, I have replaced a half dozen pairs of shoes with new, higher quality, good-looking shoes at great prices.
We usually find at least a couple of bargains that we cannot pass.
Occasionally we may walk away with nothing new, but overall the balance has been positive over the past year or so.
If you can, stop by and visit, the odds are in your favor.

I have to be honest...I'm thinking this shopping sugar hole for wonderful shoes, boots and sandals should be kept a secret but, that would be selfish of me!!
When you walk into the store you'll find the women's shoes directly ahead, look for the leather couches to try on your haul.
Each box is adorned with a red, purple, green, orange or yellow dot, each dot color gives you a percentage off the marked price, for instance, the purple dot is 70% off the listed price.
The red is 30% off.
I've purchased several pair of designer shoes for half their original price!!

I'm quite familiar with the Zappos website as I have narrow feet and heavily utilize their generous return policy (thank you Zappos website!). I've been meaning to go to the Zappos outlet for awhile now. What really sealed it was hearing someone else describe their recent incredible haul.

So I made the short drive down I-65 to outside of Louisville last Friday. After reading Yelp reviews and looking at their Facebook page, it appears that Wednesdays and the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays) appear to be the best times for deep, deep discounts. No matter, I was excited to be able to try on multiple pairs of shoes.

The shoe selection was good and the prices were what I normally pay for shoes. I didn't encounter as many narrows as I thought I would, but I was able to try on so many pairs of shoes, more than I ever would have ordering online. They do have some clothes, although the prices weren't low enough for me to try them on (and they do have a fitting room). Accessories like purses were pretty small. Interestingly, they did have some luxe clothing brands around the windows. I'll go back again, but on a day when they have greater discounts.

I absolutely love this store! I'm a shoe addict and this place is always on my must visit list whenever I'm in town. I have too many shoes to mention and I can't get enough as I seem to come here more often than normal. What is normal anyway?
Anyway, over time I've found some great deals and I loved every pair of shoe I've ever bought. This recent visit, I actually came to purchase my nieces some shoes as the kids shoes were on a holiday special. I got a great deal as always and will be back sooner than later.

I recently visited this store while visiting. I had a great experience while there but discovered a problem when i returned home. I contacted the store and immediately had my problem resolved. The manager was very quick to answer and eager to solve my problem.

The store is very clean and the employees are very nice. Once going through the door, they had us spin the wheel. I got a 50% off ticket and my friend spun and got 15%. I was looking for some running shoes and didn't want to spend a lot of money. Some of their shoe prices are kind of high considering these are all returned items, but I think I still got a good deal for what I was looking for. I was looking for brooks running shoes which luckily they had. On the box it stated that the original price was $100, it was marked down to $50, and I had a 50% off ticket, so I only spent $25. Not bad considering I payed over $150 for my last brooks running shoe. Over all, I got what I was looking for and for that price I think I came out pretty good.

After dropping my daughter off at ups we spotted the new building.
We decided to pop in real quick just to take a peak.
When you walk in ladies shoes start right in front of you. Higher sizes down to children. Men run the other side of the wall.
I found several pair of shoes I wanted - but narrowed it down to only 2 pair. ( of all times for my husband to Want to shop with me!)
He got a pair of shoes and a Hurley bathing suit.
I tried on several Lilly Pulitzer items- some still marked up way to high. Mismatched pieces small top medium skirt. Make up on the dress and still priced High! Bathing suit was reasonably priced.
Nice selection, helpful/ friendly staff.

I've been to the Zappos outlets multiple times. Each shoes has the original price and the price they are selling for, but the original price seems to be a bit inflated. I've looked up shoes there before and it's comparable to the selling price at this "outlet".

Before you go to this store, check out their Facebook page for a special. The last time I went there was a buy one get one free special which was awesome.

My coworker recommended me to come to this place after I told her I was going to Louisville. I was expecting a lot more since it seemed like a "warehouse" location but the store is just attached to a larger warehouse I guess. I would prefer to go to Nordstrom Rack. There wasn't that much of a selection.

If you're in the area, it's worth to come check to their stock. Obviously the items come and go so sometimes you might be able to find better stuff than others.

Unfortunately I left empty-handed - no shoes or purses caught my attention :(
