This was the best move I have ever had!
Fast and extremely efficient.
Came when they said they would and the price was what they said it would be, no hidden fees.

Got the job done within a few hours and everything was handled perfectly!

team max did my move in 2020, and at the end of the move they asked for more tip! the lead person literally haggled, also a few of my items went missing - including a playstation! do not use these movers they are really shady.... they also asked how much i pay for rent at my new apartment.
also did not care while moving some of the items. broke a light fixture - it was an accident, but he just shrugged.

Incredible service! I've heard horror stories of hiring moving companies but after doing research online and reading reviews on Yelp, I felt comfortable with Twin Brothers. I requested a quote 4 days before my preferred move date via Yelp and they immediately responded within 10 minutes and were able to accommodate. After a couple back and forth messages, I got the quote and was surprised at how affordable it was. I also used the Yelp deal ($20 for $50 value). I hired 2 guys for 3 hours. They were up front about the fees asking specific questions like how many flight of stairs. Now, I was moving from a small studio to another studio and had about 15 medium/large boxes plus furniture - not a whole lot of stuff. They also emailed a Certificate of Insurance quickly to meet the building requirements.

On move day, they were quick, efficient, and careful. They helped wrap my TV and other furniture to easily transport it down the stairs into the truck. They had a process: one guy wrapping and bringing boxes to edge of stairs, and another guy transporting to truck. After the move, they reviewed the charges and it matched the quote that was given, and they applied the Yelp offer. Great deal!

Now, after unpacking I realized I was missing a few pieces of my bed frame. I emailed them, they called immediately, and delivered the items the next day at no charge. Great service!

I highly recommend them and will use them for future moves.

AVOID this mover, they'll NEVER show up. No apologies, no compensation, no credibility and doesn't care about their customers AT ALL.

These movers deserve 0 stars. We booked with them a MONTH ahead. On the day of the move, they were supposed to show up at 12pm but when we called they said they'll be late but should arrive before 3. At 2 we got another call saying the truck got into an accident and couldn't come till 5 or 6 pm. We were upset but decided to wait again. And then no one showed up at 6, and we called they said they'll come at 8. At that point it's too late in the day and our building won't let us use the elevator so we rescheduled to the next Monday.

The day before Monday we got an email saying they're overbooked and cannot move us (they did offer to reschedule us, again) because we didn't book ahead of time and didn't have priority per their policy.

I don't know how this kind of service is acceptable. If our lease had ended the day we scheduled to move we would be homeless because of them. We had to take extra days off and pay a premium to book other movers last minute. Moving is already stressful enough and this company turned it into a completely nightmare.

Awesome customer service! If you're looking for a moving company to help you move to your new home, twin brothers movers is the company you should go with! They helped me moved me to my new home from Philadelphia to Los Angeles because of a new job opportunity and everything went smooth and perfect. Communication was awesome and they were always available whenever I had a question for them to answer. They arrived early on moving day for me and had everything packed and ready to go within a couple few hours. Everyone was so nice and helpful and placed everything where i wanted them to be at. They even made sure that nothing was damage by being extra careful with fragile items instead of being careless and what not. Pricing for moving was great and guaranteed, especially the distance that we had to travel. No stress involved when moving which is a big plus! Highly recommend this company!

Traumatic experience. THEY CANCELLED ON ME LAST MINUTE WITHOUT NOTICE. Movers never showed up on day of my move, and when I called the office, they said they decided to cancel my move -- without notifying me -- even though they'd confirmed it two days before. They offered to reschedule me for 3 DAYS LATER, which was useless because my lease would have already been up. They offered no alternative solution. I was in utter distress, and they couldn't wait to refund my deposit and get rid of me. I've followed up for 3 weeks with no reply from management. Only after I researched why movers cancel did I find that some places will overbook to make sure they keep the biggest profit possible. I ended up having to scramble to find a mover last minute and pay double what it would have normally cost.

Just had a very positive experience with their service. I have moved a lot in the last few years and I can say I had so much of shit to pack into boxes and these guys came in right in time and started moving my boxes following by furnitures and etc. They wrapped all the valuable furnitures neatly and carefully took them down 3 flights of stairs. The apartment I moved has an elevator and it was very easy for Fred and his team to move my stuff into the elevator building. This company has the best customer service, friendly staff, very efficient and careful movers that you can rely on. They charged me on a hourly basis and it only took them 3 hours to complete the move at a very reasonable price.
I will definitely use their service and recommend to my friends who needs help move.

I hired Twin Brothers to move a 1 bedroom apartment in Queens to a 2 bedroom apartment in Yonkers, using 3 movers. I can't begin to express how happy I am that I did! They made my move completely stress free.

Frank and his team were timely, courteous, and professional. They assisted me with the whirlwind of last minute packing I had to do, and handled my belongings with care. When we reached the new apartment they were very accommodating and were able to also place some of my things in my on-site storage.

I couldn't have asked for a better, more affordable move. Well worth every penny.

Another satisfied customer!

First off, I shopped around moving companies from Yelp. Twin brothers offered the most competitive pricing, by far. They also don't charge for providing wardrobe boxes and COIs.

My movers were Freddie and another gentleman. They were quick, moved fast and didn't waste ANY time. We drove from our apartment to a house 25 mins away. I expected them to take some "extra" time to get to the house, and I was 100% wrong. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a house all less than 4.5 hours, that's including them helping build our bed and travel between location A and location B. Minimal damage, just a scuff on a base of a table.

I had a fabulous experience with Fred & John! They were on time and super fast!
